Vancouver Strata, Lu’ma E 8th Ave – Soft Washing & Pressure Washing

Problem

This multi-unit strata property managed by Lu’ma Native Housing had accumulated layers of dirt, algae, and organic debris across painted surfaces, balconies, and surrounding hardscape. Maintaining the property’s integrity while achieving a deep clean was a top priority.

Solution

Alblaster’s crew used a strategic combination of soft washing and pressure washing to address different surface types. Soft washing was applied to painted walls, balcony floors, and other delicate areas to gently remove organic buildup without damaging finishes. Pressure washing was then used to restore the appearance of tougher surfaces such as brickwork, sidewalks, and retaining walls.

Results

The entire property received a full exterior refresh, with clean and uniform surfaces that significantly improved the curb appeal. Our approach preserved the longevity of fragile materials while revitalizing high-traffic concrete areas, showcasing how both techniques can work in tandem to deliver optimal results for strata properties.
